Briefings

Russian John made for a nice foot warmer with a view. The area
around the pool, fire pit and bench was fairly clean. It may be just
because it's been 4 years since I've been here last, but the pool
seems a bit larger and deeper. All in all, a very beautiful area and
excellent warm soak for the hot summer months.

Russian John was a little too cool for us to stay in very long this time of the year. It's still winter in some parts of the mountains, and this is merely a Warm Spring. I can imagine what a perfect little spot this is during
the hot summer though. The area was pretty clean save for a couple cig butts floating in the water which we quickly disposed of. There was a nice fire pit right next to the pool too. FYI, I've read that this is highly trafficked and abused during the summer.
